Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center welcomes you to our web site. Our purpose is to serve families in Wise County and the surrounding area who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. Our passion to do this work is driven by our desire to serve and give to others as Jesus would do and reach out to our community through His love.

For the past 30 years, abortion rights and human life have been a political hot button in our nation. Since 1973 when abortion in the US was legalized, over 40 million women have chosen abortion. That's about 1 woman in every 3.

With numbers that high, the Christian community cannot ignore that there are many walking wounded in our midst and we're still in the battle for the lives of the unborn and the souls of the women facing the life-changing challenge of an unplanned pregnancy.

Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center provides education and resources to women who believe they're pregnant and who may be considering abortion. We offer help without judgment and a path to Christ for those who would hear His call.

Wise Choices PRC wants to help churches, businesses, or individuals find a place to serve or be served by us through local missions, leadership education, abortion recovery counseling and more! Just give us a call if you'd like to know more.

Dear Friends of Wise Choices,

In Psalm 119:1-2 it says: “Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who keep His statutes and seek Him with all their heart.”

Here at Wise Choices we strive daily to walk according to the law of the Lord and to keep His statues and seek Him with all our hearts. We also strive to teach others to do the same. It is a challenge at times to get someone to see that walking outside of God’s will has possibly brought them to the place in their lives that they are seeking help from a pregnancy resource center, but that is what God has placed on our hearts to do. Our primary goal is to open our clients’ eyes to see their babies as human and a gift from God. The next goal is to help them open their eyes and hearts to Jesus, their Savior. Our next goal is to provide help for them when they decide to keep their child.

In the first quarter of 2009, we have presented the gospel 92 times and seen 19 girls pray to receive Christ! Praise God from whom our help comes. We also have had 1 rededication, and distributed 11 Bibles. The medical staff has given 118 pregnancy tests with 89 being positive, 84 sonograms to 32 abortion vulnerable clients and 3 abortion minded. Of the abortion vulnerable/abortion minded clients, 30 choose to carry their baby to term. The Resource Center has been busy too. We have provided 3,768 diapers and 53 packages of wipes with the Earn While You Learn program.
